For Mondag the 25th of January I was asked to join a meeting at our site in Rotterdam.
I decided to bring the camera and tripod with me hoping for an opportunity to shoot some pics after work. Fortunately work was finished mid-afternoon and the weather was beautiful, so I decided to have a walk in the city. The near-complete destruction of Rotterdam's city centre during World War II (known as the Rotterdam Blitz) has resulted in a varied architectural landscape including sky-scrapers, which are an uncommon sight in other Dutch cities (source Wikipedia). Below you will find some pics of this afternoon and early evening.
