When you say Easter many people will think of Jesus Christ, the Easter Bunny or even think off eggs :-) For me Easter is also connected with flowers. As Easter is in early Spring more flowers start to bloom after the Snowdrops and Crocuses. It was great weather to go outdoors this Easter. A great opportunity to take the camera with the macro lens attached and shoot some of these early bloomers. Click on a photo to enlarge. First I went to the royal park of the 'Oude Loo'. This part of the palace park is only open for the public in April and May. In early April the Wood Anamone is blooming there (pic 1 and 3). It is one of my favorites to capture in the early spring. The palace and the teahouse are also great objects to capture. However it will be more colorfull in a month from now when the azaleas and rhododendrons are blooming. As I had my camera and tripod within reach I captured some flowers in the garden too when I was back home.
